Peace is described as an X-Men and Ender's Game combination, and you seem entirely consistent with a hypothetical years-later version of a Wolverine from at least one X-Men canon. So my questions are: 1) Did versions of the other X-Men and (presumably) metacausally linked persons used to exist? Now that your world is linked to Downside, is there a Professor X and a Magneto and Phoenix and Cyclops and what have you in the catacombs? 2) If so, what happened in the meanwhile? It certainly sounds as if mutations in Peace are less strong, or at least less dramatic, than that. Otherwise I imagine the buggers would have been much less of a problem.
