That makes sense, but now I am confused about the conversation starting here. Is what's said there incorrect? Aegis says "If we got home now, less time would have passed than if we got home tomorrow." If I take that literally, it means that Aegis, Amariah, and Cam can "affect how much time passes in another world by going there subjectively-to-[them]-sooner", which contradicts what you said above.
